Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey, her father (who passed away in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. Aryna is the holder of 12 WTA Singles titles. One of which was named Grand Slam during the Australian Open 2023. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player. She has won two Majors to her name in this specialty that include the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both with Elise Mertens. It was the Sunshine Double was achieved by her and Elise in the year 2019. They both won the WTA 1000s in Indian Wells & Miami. Four couples only managed to achieve this feat in women's doubles. In January of 2023 she surpassed her top ranking in singles. The 23rd day of August, 2021 she was promoted into the top two spot of the world rankings. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself up to first place in February of the same year, following the win in Melbourne being the first tennis player born in Belarus to make it in the sport of doubles. She was coached by an ex- Russian tennis star Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the close of the 2019 season and in part at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann and her were in a brief relationship between August and September of 2020. She has been trained by her fellow hero Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her heroes.
